Tell Congress to Take Swift Action

We know that repealing the Affordable Care Act without replacing it will be devastating to American families. Together, we made sure Congress knew it too.

President Trump has decided to do by Executive Order what he couldn’t do through Congress: undermine the Affordable Care Act, which has brought health insurance to 24 million Americans. His previous actions have already caused premiums to rise.

His latest announcements will make matters much worse. Last night, President Trump announced that he will halt the cost-sharing subsidies that help insurance companies lower deductibles and other out-of-pocket costs for low-income Americans. Experts and elected officials from across the political spectrum agree that this will lead insurance companies to raise premiums even further, and may even lead more insurers to leave the Marketplace.

Congress can help. Please contact Senator McCaskill and Senator Blunt today and tell them to prioritize passing bipartisan legislation to protect our access to health insurance.
